- Infectious Disease: Recent negative FeLV/FIV (within 30–60 days).
- Parasites: Current flea/tick prevention; free of internal/external parasites.
- Wellness Exam: Vet exam within 30–60 days.
- Grooming: Nails trimmed; sanitary groom recommended.
- Behavior: Human-social and tolerant of short, private confinement.
Documentation verified at check-in. We may decline service if requirements aren’t met.
How Stud Service Works (Step-by-Step)
- Inquiry & Approval: Start via Contact. Share queen’s pedigree, health records, timing, and breeding goals.
- Contract & Reservation: Written contract provided; reservation fee holds dates.
- Arrival & Check-In: We verify records and settle the queen into a private, sanitized stud suite.
- Breeding Window: Typical stay 2–4 days during standing heat; supervised introductions and monitoring.
- Pick-Up & Report: You’ll receive a written breeding report with observed matings.
- Pregnancy Confirmation: Update us at 28–35 days (ultrasound or vet confirmation).
- Live Kitten Guarantee (LKG): Contract provides a rebreed window if no pregnancy or no live kittens (vet proof required).
Stud Fee & Terms
Stud Fee: $1200 (due at drop-off; reservation fee credited).
Reservation Fee: $200 (applied to stud fee; non-refundable if canceled and dates can’t be rebooked).
Boarding: $25/day after day 4 (if an extended stay is needed).
Rebreed / LKG: One no-fee rebreed if no pregnancy or no live kittens (vet proof required) within the contract window. Queen must meet all requirements for the return service.
Mobile Option: Limited on-site arrangements in SoCal may be considered (travel fee quoted case-by-case).
Payment: Cash, Zelle, or other agreed methods at intake.
Health & Safety Policies
- Private Suite: One visiting queen at a time; suite disinfected and aired between visits.
- Stress-Reduction: Quiet environment, pheromone diffusers, and visual barriers to keep queens calm.
- Emergency Vet Care: If urgent care is required, we will use a trusted local veterinarian. Owner is responsible for medical costs.
- Non-Compliant Arrivals: If a requirement isn’t met, we will reschedule or decline; reservation fee may be forfeited.
