About CWPX Birman Cattery

CWPX Birman is a CFA-registered, foundation-phase cattery in Oceanside, California. Phoenix the Kweenix is
our cornerstone Birman — a therapy-grade companion and show cat who has not yet sired any litters.
We’re building the program now, on purpose, before a single kitten is born.

Where We Are in the Journey

A lot of catteries start with “kittens available now.” CWPX starts with systems and standards.
At this stage:

  • No litters have been produced yet.
  • No pregnancies are currently planned or confirmed.
  • We are actively refining health, temperament, and structure goals for the program.

When people land on this site, it can look like we’re already midstream with multiple litters behind us. The
reality is more intentional: we’ve simply built the framework early so that when kittens do arrive, the runway
is already paved.

Timeline (Honest Version)

  • Phase 1 – Foundation Life: Phoenix joins the family, becomes an emotional anchor, and
    grows up as a deeply bonded house cat first.
  • Phase 2 – Health & DNA: Full panel testing, vet partnerships, and structure/temperament
    tracking — long before any breeding is considered.
  • Phase 3 – Show & Structure: Phoenix enters shows, earns titles, and proves himself in the
    ring and in real-world life.
  • Phase 4 – First Planned Pairing (Future): Once the right queen and timing are selected,
    we will announce a specific pairing and realistic expectations.
  • Phase 5 – First CWPX Litter: Only after that pairing, pregnancy, and safe delivery will
    there be “past litters” to talk about.

Our Method

Systems beat guesswork. The cattery runs with the same discipline I bring to aviation, wellness, and
real estate:

  • Checklists over vibes: Health, temperament, and structure are evaluated on criteria, not
    impulse.
  • Small, focused scale: CWPX will remain a small program with a limited number of well-planned litters.
  • Transparency: No mystery litters, no vague promises, and no deposits taken for kittens that
    don’t exist.
