Policies that protect the cats, the families, and the integrity of every placement. This is the standard.
These policies exist so nobody is surprised, pressured, or guessing. If you align with them, we’ll work well together. If you don’t, that’s okay — but we won’t be the right fit.
Translation: we protect the kitten first. Always.
Placement standards
Who we place with, how we decide, and what we require.
Home requirements
Basic requirements that keep the kitten safe and set up for stability.
- Indoor-only homes (safety, health, longevity).
- No declawing under any circumstances.
- Match-first placements — temperament and fit matter more than speed.
- Right to decline if a home isn’t a fit.
Health & care expectations
A Birman is not “low maintenance.” If you want effortless, choose differently.
- Routine veterinary care and age-appropriate vaccination continuation.
- Safe indoor enrichment: scratching, climbing, daily play routine.
- Proper introductions to other pets (slow, structured, no chaos).
- Transition support is available — and recommended.
Timing, reservations, and changes
We run on readiness and documentation — not pressure.

Rehoming policy
If you cannot keep your CWPX Birman, contact us. We’ll help coordinate a safe outcome. The priority is the cat’s welfare and stability.
- Do not surrender to shelters without contacting us first.
- No “free to a good home” postings.
- We coordinate next steps case-by-case.
